STRENGTH. POWER. RESILIENCE.

We’ll develop effective habits in the girls around focus, control and strength that they can take forward into all parts of their life. We’ll work on demonstrating the difference between speed and power, and helping them understand the right moments and techniques to apply each of them.

Using the non-combat, technical skills of boxing, we’ll enable girls to exercise the bravery that comes with moving out of your comfort zone to develop a new skill. Each session will focus on a specific boxing technique or drill that will directly link to an internal emotion or belief.

Over 8 weeks, girls will…

+Grasp basic boxing techniques: stance/footwork; guard and defence; angles and body positioning; basic punch combinations; vision

+Learn to channel their physical strength to build confidence and internal strength

+Build resilience to overcome negative and self-limiting beliefs

+Develop an understanding that mastering a sport takes patience and commitment

Girls will leave us with the courage to try new things, the tenacity to overcome physical and mental challenges and a feeling of pride of the power she holds within.

 MEET YOUR COACHES

By giving girls access to positive role models, we’ll empower them to recognise themselves as role models to others and leaders of the future.

Co-Head Coach: Amelie Visch

Both coaches speak Dutch and English. In our experience, language has never been a barrier when it comes to being fearless! Plus it's a great opportunity for girls to practise their language skills and learn from each other.

Being fearless means living by the words of Michelle Obama, staying ‘breezy in manner, powerful in mind’.
