Health and safety have always been at the forefront of our programs, but as we’re all aware some new precautions must be put in place for the safety of our participants, families and staff.

We’ll continue abiding by the social distancing rules and regulations set by the RIVM, including the following precautionary measures:

  • All changing rooms will remain closed - please ensure your child comes to the location in the appropriate attire needed for the course.

  • Participants must stay at home if they have cold-like symptoms and stay at home if a member of their household has a fever and/or shortness of breath.

  • All participants are required to bring their own water bottle (filled). There will be no sharing of bottles/water/food.

  • There is a strict no sharing of equipment policy. For boxing, each participant will receive their own set of gloves for the duration of the course, which will be labeled and kept at the studio. For skateboarding, if the participant needs to borrow gear throughout the course, we will disinfect helmets and protection sets after each use.

  • For courses that take place indoors, all persons aged over 14 must wear a mask while inside, including guardians, coaches and mentors.

What do guardians need to know?

  • In order to limit the number of people in the same place at one time, please do not arrive more than 10 minutes before drop-off or pick-up. Please keep a 1,5m distance from everyone during this time and do not gather in groups when dropping off or picking up your child.

  • Parents/guardians must stay at home if they have cold-like symptoms and stay at home if a member of their household has a fever and/or shortness of breath.

What happens if we are an indoor class (ARTivism, boxing, or the mentor program) and lockdown happens?

  • If a new lockdown is in place before the course has begun, guardians will be given the option for a refund or credit with a guaranteed spot on a future course. Boxing will continue as a mix of in-person (outside) and virtual (when it rains) classes.

  • If a new lockdown occurs when our course has already begun, we’ll continue with the course virtually (boxing will be a mix of virtual and outdoors). Although this is no substitute for in-person connections, in the spring of 2020 we proved that even boxing was not only doable virtually, but a much-needed break in the week for some Fearless fun!

What happens if we are an outdoor class and lockdown happens?

  • Unless otherwise noted by the RIVM, outdoor training activities for persons aged under 18 will still continue. New coaching precautions may need to be added, but we will still continue our outdoor and socially-distanced programs.

Air hugs, air high fives and foot tap hellos are welcome!
