We are happy to provide a board and protective gear for those who need it while participating in our programs!
If they have their own board and protection, that’s a huge help and we’d love for them to bring it! We kindly ask that you double check it is inline with our required gear list.
For any questions or concerns please reach out to info@projectfearless.org
Please see below list of acceptable boards and required protective gear:
Skateboard Type
If you are unsure of what type of board you have, please reach out with a photo to info@projectfearless.org and we can help!
If you wish to purchase your own board, we recommend buying a “complete” board from a skateboard shop and happy to help recommend what would work best for her. Although all skate shop staff will be just as knowledgeable (it not more), we have created a map list of skateboard shops in Amsterdam:
Safety Gear and Protection
Participants must wear the following gear while skateboarding at all times:
A skateboard helmet. A skateboard helmet is different than a bike helmet as it covers the entire head. Often referred to as a cockpit helmet because of it’s shape. You can purchased the needed helmet at any skate shop or at Decathlon here:
