Program Requirements
or how to keep Things Smooth & Fearless
Welcome!
To make sure every child has a safe, fun, and rewarding experience, we ask parents & guardians to read the following Program Requirements.
-
Our programs are for kids between the ages of 9 and 14. Participants must be 9 years old or older at the time the program starts.
Depending on the program, age groups could be for kids 9-11, 9-12 or 12-14.
-
At Project Fearless all levels are welcome! Our programs do not requiere previous experience in order to participate.
Our sports programs are all non-combat and non-competitive. We are all about playing, making mistakes and cheering each other up.
-
Changed your mind? No problem — just note this:
All cancellations must be submitted in writing to info@projectfearless.org.
To receive a reimbursement, cancellation must occur within 24 hours of registration.
In the case of free programs, please notify us at least two weeks before the program starts, so the spot can be offered to someone else.
-
To ensure each participant gets the full Project Fearless experience, regular attendance matters. Participants are expected to attend regularly.
Participants should be dropped off and picked up on time. Please note that early drop-offs or late pick-ups affect our volunteers.
If a participant attends less than 50% of sessions, we may not be able to offer them a spot in the following seasons.
-
We’re committed to offering opportunities to as many kids as possible. However, our scholarships are limited.
Scholarship recipients must attend the first 2 weeks of the program and are expected to attend regularly. If they do not - without exception- their spot will be offered to the next child on the waitlist. They could also be denied a scholarhsip in following seasons.
This is to ensure that no scholarship is held by someone unable to participate.
-
Do you qualify for Stadspas? Then you only pay €10 to participate in any Project Fearless paid program.

WhatsApp Parent chats:
To keep communication clear and organized between coordinators, coaches and parents we use WhatsApp group chats.
In order for a kid to be able to participate in our porgrams, it's required that at least one parent and/or legal guardian joins the WhatsApp chat for every course that their child is registered in.
Only adults are allowed to be in the Programs WhatsApp chats.
Once the season starts, WhatsApp groups will become the only communication channel to keep parents/guardians informed of weekly program updates.
-
For any questions, feedback, or concerns, please contact our Operations Team (Elizabeth or Emma).
Our volunteer coaches are not able to address operational or administrative matters. -
During registration, parents/guardians are asked to provide consent for photos and/or videos of their child to be taken during program activities.
If consent is given, these images may be used for communication and promotional purposes, including (but not limited to) social media, the website, posters, and flyers.
Consent may be withdrawn at any time by submitting a written request to info@projectfearless.org.
If an image is used without valid consent, please notify us. We will take appropriate action and remove the image as soon as reasonably possible.
-
When required, participants will be provided with necessary equipment and protective gear (e.g., skateboards, helmets, and pads for skateboarding; gloves for kickboxing; shoes for bouldering or football).
Use of bouldering shoes and skate protective gear is mandatory.
Participants can bring their own gear, as long as it complies with the course’s safety requirements.
-
We are not made of sugar, but safety comes first!
If the weather is miserable or dangerous, we will notify parents/guardians of any changes in the schedule. Cancellations or location changes will take place 2 hours before the session, via the program’s WhatsApp parent chat.
In case of rain, and when possible, we will move the session to a rain back-up location.
-
If a session is cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances (e.g., sick coaches, extreme weather, government recommendations), we will -whenever possible- add a bonus session at the end of the season.
Only one (1) bonus session can be added throughout a season, even if multiple sessions are cancelled.
-
For the safety and enjoyment of participants and coaches, and due to the limited numbers of spots available, we do not offer try-out lessons. Only children officially registered for the course may attend our programs.
Unregistered children, whether they are siblings or friends of the participants, cannot join nor visit the course.
Occasionally, we’ll offer “bring a friend” sessions—often in week 2 of the program—inviting siblings and friends to join, provided they’re in the appropriate age group.
