We’re showing girls that no matter the size of their voice, they all have the tools to create change.
Ages 9-12
ABOUT THE PROGRAM
This course is for kids who want to make a beautiful difference to the world through creativity and explore finding your voice while you do.
We’ll work as a team using ARTivism (art + activism) as our instrument for action. Through interactive activities and experiments, we’ll see how individual and collective imagination and action can create change. Our goal is that you’ll leave us confident in your ability to create impact, at home, in your community or at school. So whether you’re a new or old ARTivist, you can jump into the action!

+Meet women from different sustainability, science, design and innovation disciplines, to hear about different paths of creative impact and leadership
+Explore sustainability and innovation topics, with hands-on experiments and activities about how they impact our lives and futures (and also a real-life business)
+Get creative and try new artistic methods and tools to communicate societal issues and potential solutions to their community and beyond
+Stretch their current knowledge of sustainability solutions and innovations, and talk about the link between sustainability and social justice
+Try out skills like illustration, engineering, sewing and weaving, paper-making and more!
+Vrouwen ontmoeten uit de duurzaamheid, science, design en innovatie sector om te leren over de verschillende aanpakken van creatieve impact en leiderschap.
+Onderwerpen ontdekken zoals duurzaamheid en innovatie, met experimenten en activiteiten die de impact op onze levens en onze toekomst laten zien (en de impact hiervan op een bedrijf)
+Op creatieve manier proberen om maatschappelijke problemen en mogelijke oplossingen binnen hun eigen community, en ver daarbuiten, bespreekbaar te maken.
+Hun kennis verbreden over duurzaamheid en innovatie, en de connectie bespreken tussen duurzaamheid en sociale rechtvaardigheid.
+Skills ontdekken zoals illustreren, bouwkunde, naaien en weven, papier maken en meer!

This course will be run in English and Dutch. Kids don’t need to be ‘advanced’ in art or science to join us — we’re here to show that everyone can get hands-on and be a scientist and an artist, they’re not mutually exclusive 🤗
Deze cursus wordt zowel in het Engels als in het Nederlands gegeven. Kids hoeven geen uitgebreide kennis over kunst of science te hebben om mee te kunnen doen — wij willen laten zien dat iedereen een wetenschapper en een kunstenaar kan zijn, het één sluit het ander niet uit 🤗
