We believe skateboarding can fuel girls with confidence and a belief that they can enable change. We’ll teach girls to push forward on their skateboards and, as a result, enable them to confidently push forward in life.

The 2019 Autumn course is now full! In 2020 we will be coming back bigger and better so please stay up to date on new courses and happenings via our newsletter.

We’re stoked to be collaborating with Women Skate the World to get more girls skateboarding and, in the process, boost their determination and confidence. Creating a space where when we fall we can lift each other up- high five, and get back on the board!

And, by giving girls access to positive female role models, we’ll empower them to recognise themselves as role models to others and leaders of the future.

Over 8 weeks, girls will learn…

Skateboarding basics - stance; pushing forward; balance; curves and turning.

How to overcome a fear of falling - and brush yourself off and get back up again.

How to support and help each other - on the board and beyond.

How to be confident in her ability to make positive changes - for herself, her peers and her community.

The course will enable girls to meet and hear from women of different backgrounds and how they use sport as a way to create impact and break stereotypes.

Girls will leave us with the skills and courage to take on the skatepark and a newfound awareness of how she can create impact and overcome challenges, big and small.
